When I print to pdf on my laptop I don't have any problems, but when I print to pdf on my desktop it distorts the letters. It's in Arial. And when I use Google Drive with Arial letters, it prints correctly. What could be wrong with my Revit to Adobe PDF (Acrobat DC)?
Ive had good success with "bullzip". its free, and it works. but like BB said.. there are still others..
Hi
Make sure all the fonts are available in your Desktop as well.
just cross-check and compare with your laptop fonts folder.
I had the same issue. The text enlarges once the DWF / PDF is exported but the revit sheet shows everything in perfect order.
There are two solutions:
1. Use another PDF writer as written by many others above. Foxit PDF printer is free and generates light weight PDFs
2. Sometimes we don't have the time to install or even think of solutions when important deliverable is due. Just increase the text box size to at least double the requirement of the text.
My laptop and my desktop look identical, at least as far as arial fonts on concerned.
