Printer Issue

Hi all,

Does anyone know why I keep receiving this error message (see attached)?

I'm trying to print by "Selected views/sheets" and it'll only print one of the drawings and then will refuse to print the rest? If I try printing the drawings by "Current window" it doesn't work except from the one drawing that prints with "Selected views/sheets". Have tried disconnecting and restarting the computer, printer and Revit, no change.

Tried with a different Revit file and it works fine so I'm assuming it's a corrupt Revit file maybe? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I agree with ennujozlagam.  That is the most common problem with that warning.  If that doesn't work then i would focus on the views/sheets as they could be the culprit but more than likely the dpi issue is causing your headache.  Typically if your views/sheets are corrupt they just wont print not give you a warning like your getting.

I'm having the exact same problem.  I'm not printing pdf's or anything associated with Adobe.  I'm printing house plans exactly like I've printed with Revit for the last 10 years.  Any help would be appreciated as I can't seem to figure this out.  Our other two machines running Revit have no issues.  The only thing that has happened was a Windows update.  Thanks!

I'm not printing anything with adobe either, it's a memory issue though. I got someone else in the office to try and print the same drawings as me as he printed them fine. When I find a definitive answer I'll let you know!

Thanks for the quick reply.  Did you recently do a Window update?  That's the only out of the ordinary thing that has happened with my computer.  What gets me is everything has worked fine and dandy for years and now there's a memory issue?  Not fun.  Thanks again!

I did, yes. But I'm pretty sure the other guy in my office did too and he printed fine?

Either way, I'm not impressed.

I found through another thread on here that you need to uninstall those recent security updates.  I was told the Windows 10 one is security update KB172729.  I'm still on Windows 7 so I had to uninstall a few of them to get it to work.  Then I had the problem pop up again and had to uninstall another one.  Seriously annoying.

Did you try asking at the website that you linked?

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
