You cannot print from Adobe Reader. But you do not need to buy DC Pro to print PDF files from Revit either. There are several free PDF Printers can do the same job such as PDF Creator, PDF Architect, CutePDF, to name a few.
BlueBeam is also a good option and it has plugins for Revit for one click export to PDF, and the ability to create 3D PDF. It is not free but I think it has a better value than Adobe products.
Hi @pm2133,
Welcome to the community!
I agree with what @ToanDN said. He basically listed two of my favorite free PDF Printers, namely PDF Creator and PDF Architect. CutePDF is also widely used.
Other paid for options are RTV Xporter OR Xrev Transmit (This one is generally also the favorite option among past forum threads, apart from batch plotting, you can batch export & filter what you want to plot/export to .DWG etc.)
But, for what you want to achieve, RTV Xporter will most probably be the best $9.99 which you'll spend.
I hope this helps!

Ive tried all the above, free stuff with annoying advertisements but all were more or less ok; however the experience with PDF Architect was more satisfying so to say that I got the paid version.
Abode is a rip off! We have the X subscription and it's really lots of money for nothing special

archi systems as
PDF Architect has malware on it, advertisements even on paid products
http://forums.pdfforge.org/t/how-to-disable-desktop-ads-in-pdf-architect-3/8170/28
CutePDF Writer also tries to install malware during installation
Trying to find a PDF writer that is not garbage since Autodesk cannot support Acrobat or provide their own PDF writer.
