I am trying to print a sheet to pdf. The story is, ive been working on a project for the last couple of weeks and im about finished. I have had no printing issues yet to speak of until now. all my other sheets print out just fine. when i sent my plans to the structural engineer he reluctantly told me he did not know how to use autocad so i had to create drawings based off of his hand drawings in revit architecture. what i did was create a couple of drafting views and line by line drew the details. I have 6 or so drafting view on this one sheet along with the foundation plan. when i try to print like i always have i get a partly created sheet. it seems to me as if my computer isnt buffering/spooling all the drawing out or something. ive tried enableing and disabeling the 3d accelerator, updating graphics card, and many others. i have a very strong computer, so i dont think it can be that. Specs: Vista ultimate 64-bit, dual core processor 4800+ 2.50 GHz, 8GB ram, NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT 1GB ram video card, and 5TB worth of available hard drive space. i attached an image of what im getting when trying to print. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. my deadline is coming up and i dont know what to do.
I would test printing this sheet using the Raster Processing method under Print > Print Setup > Hidden Line Views > Remove Lines Using > Raster Processing. See if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, verify if there is anything different on this sheet or title block. Often when a title block shifts up, Revit is detecting an image or nested object on the sheet or in the title block family.
Lastly, I would test exporting a DWF to see if the same behavior occurs as with PDF.
