Revit keeps defaulting to 'not responding' when I print to adobe pdf. I've read reports of the same and have followed advice on changing different things all of which haven't solved my problem. I'm currently using the 2020 version of the software with a student licence and have an adobe cc subscription. Adobe acrobat DC is also up to date.
Thanks
I have no idea what you have tried and not tried. There are many possible solutions. Have you tried a different PDF printer?
I feel your pain. This happens from time to time to me both with Acrobat X on one computer and Acrobat DC on another. What has (so far) worked for me is to print views/sheets one at a time, to separate PDF's. I then combine them in Acrobat afterwards if needed.
No I haven't, adobe has worked for me in the past - I just don't know what changed. Any suggestions on different pdf printers?

Doesn't matter which one. I would use any freebie to see if you can print a PDF.
I had the same issue a year ago using Adobe pdf. Never find what the problem was and I threw the towel on that.
Then I´ve tried several other printers and the one that worked for me was this one, there´s a free version and a paid one.
