Hi,
I'm using Revit 2015. Problem with line weight when printing into PDF . How to get thin lines? I've set LINE WT to 1.(Manage>Advance setting) and visual graphics set to 1. But doesnt work. Pls advise.

Check your line weight settings for the scale of your views. Make pen #1 be as thin as you want.
I have pen #16 as my thinnest possible as Pen #1 controls model patterns and Pen #2 controls ceiling patterns. #3 - #8 are my standard lines.
Thanks for reply. My scale is 1:300 and there are limited pre-set scales. How do I custom scale?
So I believe it will grab the next closest scale....so make sure you have a 1:200 and 1:500 created...it should jump to the next scale for custom scales.
Thanks very much. Lines are thinner now but not as thin compared to AutoCAD. I suppose its the printer problem? I'm using CutePDF free version.
Revit isn't Autocad. It knows that a printer can only go so thin.
If you want it to go thinner export your view to Autocad and print to PDF from there.
Ensure you've prepared scales for 1:200 and 1:500. The system will automatically switch to the nearest scale if a custom one isn't available. Regards (Puff Print Manufacturers)
