Print from viewer,

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to print from Revit viewer. I know it is restricted and I cant make any changes. When I go to my desired sheet in the project browser and open it Revit sees this as a change. So now I have to open the Revit file and without opening the sheet I have to print directly by selecting the sheet from within the print dialogue. Point is I can't see a previes this way.

There is a little too much restriction to this printing.

Hello Jelmer,

When you are opening your document in Revit Viewer, are you Detaching from Central? Or are you opening the Central File to view directly?

Detaching from the Central file is considered a change in the file, thus you can't print. However, opening the project directly (even though a central file) you are able to print, and since Viewer does not allow changes, you are not altering the Central in any way.
