Point Cloud co-ordinates issue

I am having an issue adding a point cloud to Revit. The point cloud is using site coordinates and I have added the basepoint coordinates to the Revit project. When I add the point cloud using shared coordinates the point cloud is place outside of the range of Revit which then causing undesirable graphic behaviours. This is one of many scans that build up the entire project and shared coordinates need to be used. Please see attached images for more information. Thanks.

So the Point Origin is being placed at the Survey Point Origin and that SP Origin is too far away? Is that about the size of it?  If so, is it more that 10 miles away or within the Revit distance limit?

....FWIW: an alternative workflow would be to insert the PC into it's own Revit Project and Link that PC RVT into the other Revit Projects that use it.  You would still need to setup Shared Positioning.  That is, Link the PC RVT into the "Master" RVT, move it to where it belongs in the "Master" and then record the "Master" Coordinates to the PC RVT via Publish Coordinates.

I just looked at your screenshot.  I see it is what I suspected.  The Origin is too far away.  Is your intention to start the Revit Model from the Point Cloud, or to align the Point Cloud to an existing Model?

Stitch multiple pointclouds into one in ReCap then link it in your project center to center and acquire coordinates, or to a blank model, then link that model to your project

Thanks for looking into my issue I am trying to get the point cloud to align to the model coordinates. so that I don’t get the 30000 error message as this corrupts the Revit model.
