Plumbing Fixtures: Linked model visualization

Hi all,

I have to prepare Tile cutting drawings (Bathrooms, Cleaning rooms ...)

I have a Linked Plumbing model with proper position and dimensions of Plumbing Fixtures.

I want to show the Plumbing Fixtures in BLACK color (In linked model are after Plumbing System colorID)

NB I ahve tried already to assign BLACK color to Plumbing fixture in Revit link VG. Not working. Same for Filters.

Any Idea?

When you talk about plumbing system colours then filters not working, so you mean this technique doesn’t work?

Linked File Revit MEP has Colors

As I understand Revit graphic overrides, a revit family override does not supercede a mechanical systems color assignment. You need to override the system color assignment with your filter.

I would check the linked file to see if the Plumbing fixtures in there do have nested families which are a different category.

What is the result when your linked files are 'selectable' and you select the plumbing fixture with <Tab>
What properties show?

I agree with @lucdoucet_msdl,
This most probably is a filter which depends on the system abbreviation.

Do you have any other views where the piping shows? What color are they?
Is there a view filter active.

Easiest way to check is to open the linked file in an extra Revit session so it does not unload from your current project.
