Create a Revit wall type.

Select a wall

Edit the wall structure. Click Insert to add layers. Use the Up and Down buttons to move them.

Remember - the studs will be Structure, all other layers will be chosen from the list below

No no my question is different, I have an architectural model in partition wall i want to placing metal stud from structure---wall--curtain wall--metal stud wall. But in this operation we need the REVIT 2017 Extension ad-ons . Do you have this ad-ons. So i can place metal stud consecutively in a distance of 24".

If you are loaded with money then you can try the link above. If you are cheap like me then use curtain wall mullions to build those. Although I am just now realizing that I am not only cheap but also lazy because I never came up with the idea of model light gauge metal frames in any projects that I have worked on. Why do you do it?

I never use the product in the link but from a quick glance, it does what you want. You can go to the link and read what they do in more details.

@ToanDN @Anonymous - never seen anyone model metal wall studs at all. Wonder why you would want to do so - I think this would add unnecessary geometry and complexity to the Revit model.

I've never had a good reason to model any secondary framing. But I've often WANTED to. Because it looks cool.

Solution:

Explaining your client why this is not standard practice. Giving your client very high pricing for compliance with their demanding. Problem go away.

No kidding.  I suspect when they see new pricing the "very important" item suddenly will not be very important anymore.
