Please help creating a house plan

Hi guys:

Can someone please, show me the correct workflow to successfully create a residential building?

Some videos (YouTube) show only AutoCAD. Other import a drawing from ACAD into Revit. Others just Revit.

I'm a beginner in construction. making the transition from mechanical to architectural drawings. Dead in the water.

Anything helps. Tutorials, Courses...anything

Please help.

Thanks in advance

Have you searched on Youtube? There are plenty of videos with this topic, even complete courses organized by lessons. All free. It does not seem difficult to find.

Thanks Medina for the fast response.
In your opinion:

Which of these three’s options I mentioned in my post, is the right one?

Thanks in advance

There is no singular correct answer for this. You can use CAD as a starting point if you want, but you don't have to.

As noted, you should really try to find a structured introduction to the program.

A lot of people start learning by drawing modeling their own home. Look for a book called Residential Design Using Revit 2024 by Daniel Stine. It will walk you through the process. There are lots of books you can study from as well as videos online. If you have access to Linked In Learning there are courses there too.

Follow the tutorials that do not use AutoCAD drawings as a starting point to make a Revit model.

Simple, it depends on what you have to start with. Nothing then you don't need anything but Revit. If you have an AutoCAD file use it it will save some time.
