Hi all,
I'm working on the First Floor plan in a split level design. I have two roofs, one on the upper ground floor and one on the first floor that I have joined. I underlay and linework the first floor roof over then turn underlay off. I have put a plan region over the upper ground floor roof that I want showing at approx. 6000H above top view range. See Image 1. (First floor roof linework showing)
The trouble is, the Plan region works as expected when it is only over the Upper Ground Floor roof. But as soon as it passes over the First Floor roof eave the whole First Floor roof linework disappears. See Image 2. Even when underlay is on the roof outline will not show at all.
I have two roofs joined. This problem still exists when unjoined.
Is there a way to get both roofs to show consecutively? I want the left half of the First floor plan to show with the outline of the first floor roof over and the Upper ground floor half of the plan to show the Upper ground floor roof only. The roof eave passes this invisible dividing line that's all.
Any advise to get around this would be great. Thanks!
images 1 & 2 you need to slide the crop box to the left to include the whole roof line
and confirm the view ranges are set for each portion of the plan region
Im sorry but that doesn't work. I just get the following and deletes my linework.
If the green line is my cut plane, I was trying to get the red section of roof to show as linework and the blue section of roof to show as a plan region at the height of the blue line. But I don't think its possible because it deletes my linework at the lower level. Thanks anyway!
set the high roof cut plane then set the cut plane for your plan region to the lower level roof
you are looking down from the higher level first then creating the depth of the plan region to the lower level.
each part has its own view range settings
