I'm sure this has been asked dozens of times, but Autodesk, is there a way for you all to include a way to split sections to show multiple depths? I know you can do this graphically with the section annotation, but I think it would be really helpful to have something that works like plan regions for sections to show multiple depths for the actual view.
Thanks
The best you can do now is this:
There isn't any way to draw a rectangle in a section view and have it function the same way a plan region does. So basically, we can define lines vertically to separate a section view into different depths, but we cannot limit the vertical scope of those independantly as we would be able to do by defining a rectangular region.
I see. I suppose it was wishful thinking more on my part. But this might make things more complicated than they need to be as well. Thanks for your response!
I was just looking for something like this, but Revit isn't capable of this yet, but what I did was a place a section on top of the other on my sheet. This method is actually almost better than any other work around because of the control you have of an entirely different view and you can modify the shape of the section independently to only show what you want.
