I'm trying to coordinate pokethrus from a floor plan with the RCP below. I have a pokethru family that gets hosted to the floor plan. Is there a way to project a symbolic line down to the RCP below?
If the family has something within the view range of the RCP below then it can show. An invisible vertical model line poking down is one among the options.

I thought that I might be able to do that. I tried the model line extending down at least 7' but was unsuccessful. Is there anything specific I need to do with the View Range on my RCP to make the devices show up?
Should show if it's Visible in Plan/RCP and it intersects with the View Range. You sure it's poking thru? You sure you have the RCP View Range high enough to see it.
You can add a named reference plane below the level in the family and draw the symbolic line on that plane. Add a parameter to control the distance from the level to that plane so that in project you can set it to go below the ceiling if needs be.
File attached.
