I work on production builder plans which have many structural options (walls, roofs, windows, opt upper floors, etc). These options can amount to 15 or so worst case scenario. Then there are all the combinations of these different options with other options. The amount of different available layouts can be staggering.
Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to handle something like this? Are there any 3rd party add-ons that can help (excluding VisionREZ)? Are there any books or extensive tutorials that may help me with an insurmountable amount of plan options?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
John

Hi.
User various worksets rather than options to create multiple options..
Its easy to model, you can copy paste from one workset to other, easy to
give visibility.. you can keep two workset or multiple workset switched on in a view..
so many advantages..
Actual Design option is very complicated to use in schematic stage of the project.
in Schematic or rough or initial quick design option.. Worksets are faster...
Cheers.
