Plan Callouts in Stair Sections

Hi!  I'm drawing a Stair Section of a tricky stair for a midrise building.  Adjacent to the stair section would be Stair Plans, cut at critical points in the design.  Is there a good way In the Section View to reference the location of these plan views?  Plan Callouts do not indicate themselves in the section view, and I can draw a section & rotate it 90 degrees to represent a plan view, however there are graphic elements that then do not work (Underlays, Stair Dash above, Stair direction arrows, etc..).  Is there a good way to get the best of both worlds??

Have you tried creating those critical sections or stair plans with levels? If not try creating a level at that critical point and if you're needing a plan at that level then you can create that plan as well.

Don't make such views using the Plan Callout tool. Instead, make them with a Section Detail.

While you're looking at your section view of the stairs, activate the Section tool, switch the type to Detail, then draw it right in your section view horizontally.

Or, if you already have the Plan Callout views created, do the same thing with the additional step of setting the Reference Other View option when creating the Section Detail.

Use a plan or detail call-out to create the stair plan view (A).  Then draw a horizontal section on your stair section where you know it is supposed to be, but instead of creating a new view, reference the plan/detail view (A).
