Placing and aligning Face Based Families to sloped floors

Hi guys, I have created a Face Based Family for a tree grate. I need it to be flush with the floors which are tilted so that's why I used Face Base Template. (The floors are tilted because it is an urban project and it is outside, obviously).

Now the problem with these kinds of objects is that it is very hard to place them precisely. Or move around in plan. Or align to existing lines (as they are no longer perpendicular to the view). Any solution to that?

I already tried to put a Masking Region or other 2D drawings to catch it easier, but apparently they rotate with the rest of the family, and are still very hard to precisely move around in plan. How can we deal with that? There must be a way!

Help, pleeeeeeeeeease! :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:

Set Workplane and Pick the sloped surface before you move the family.
