Hi! I am working on a project and placed a new wall and door. When I looked at my 3D view the wall which should be one continuous wall looks like two separate walls. One encasing the door and then the actual wall shows at the edge. I also cannot apply material to get the two to match. I am attaching an image to give a better understanding of what the issue is.
Are the walls joined? If so, it could just be the angle of the view. Try messing with it (e.g. panning). Does it disappear/reappear?
...actually, I'm seeing other anomalies in the View. Try creating a new View.
It is a single wall. I thought that when I first noticed it so I deleted both walls and just ran a single wall. I think it has something to do with the door family. I have created other views and nothing is changing it.

Can you share the door family?
Check Trim Width parameter of the door in the project.
The door family looks normal. Can you share the project file?
Just post the Project File. Family ain't going to help here.
You know, I still think it's the View. It's terribly distorted. Is the problem replicable? Did you create a new View to see?
