I have a linked Mechanical model that isn't behaving how it should. At least how I think it should.
There's some small sections of vert pipe that are showing up all over my ceiling plans.
When I look at the Pipe in a 3d view, it's not touching the ceiling. The ceiling is hiding all of the horizontal runs that are above the ceiling.
The insulation on the pipe that's causing the problem isn't showing up. Just the pipe.
I've looked at most of the VG options. The ceiling is visible. It's not transparent. The material isn't glass. Discipline is set to Arch.
See Attached.
Any Thoughts?

So as an update to my own post.
It was suggested that the out of the box revit Pipe contain a symbolic line for some reason.
If that's the case how does one turn it off (realistically)?
It's a 9 story building. The Override by element isn't and option.
Not sure if this will help but can you create a filter for this view and add pipes to it then just turn them off, or perhaps just turn off pipes in the VG panel?
Keep the Pipe category on but turn off the Drop and Rise subcategories so that only the Pipes cut by the Cut plane will show.
This seems to turn off all pipes, even those through cut plane? (I'm using Revit 2018). Not working for me.
