pipe fitting

Hi,

I have loaded necessary pipe fittings, flanges families in routing preferences, but I have to put couple of bends on pipeline say 90 degree and 45 degree... 90 degree bend is automatically created when changing the route by 90 deg. but it is not working in case of 45 deg bend.  It takes to change the pipe elbow to 45 deg. in routing preferences. Is there anyway we avoid to go routing preferences every time to use different standard bends like 90, 45, 22.5, 11.25 and can be placed automatically after changing the pipeline direction.

Thanks,

Balkrishna

Mechanical Settings > Pipe > Angles - allows you to define whether Revit lets you sketch any angle or adjusts pipes to specific angles as you finish a sketch. Some fitting families are less tolerant of certain angles but that has to do with the way a specific fitting family is made.

Changing the angle of pipe once it is already sketched requires disconnecting the pipe from others and either using trim to recreate a fitting or grip dragging the the ends of pipe so they meet again.

Not certain that covers what you're asking.
