I´m new at making toposurfaces in Revit. I have a dwg file from existing surface that I´ve put into Revit and now I need to modify it to fit the new elevations. I found some old posts where people wondered if it was possible to pick a line as points and it was not. Is this still a fact in Revit 2018? Seems really odd, archicad has had this feature for years.
Putting points on the lines where I want the new elevations doesn´t really work either because the surface varies and I end up having these cone like shapes where the old higher spots stand out between my new lower ones.

Yes--Revit's Site Tools are really not the best, and have been a source of frustration for many years.
That said, it is possible to get decent results, with some tips and tricks.
There is an Add-in called Site Designer which has some other useful tools.
