Pick up curved wall as reference plane

Hello!

I am trying place a model text on a curved wall but i am unable to set curved wall face as a reference plane. I have even tried placing a curved grid and set reference plane by name but i found no solution.  Please help me a steps.

Set in work plane - pick up a plane- wall face

Thanks in advance!

Workplanes are just planes not curved. Also model text does not flow along a curved face.

A possible solution is to create a face based family with an instance parameter and then place instance on the wall, each letter is one instance

Draw several reference planes tangential to the curved wall and use them to host the model text.

I've had to solve the same problem...

Your best bet is to trim the model text with a void that'll cut the front and back of the text with a concentric curved surface.

Place text on flat vertical plane (Near chord of Curved surface.

Set depth of text to be excessive

Created a vertical void extrusion with work plane set to a nearby horizontal plane

I like to use one void but you can do it with two.

The profile of the extrusion(s) will have one line coincide with the wall surface, then a second line offset the desired depth of the letters.

Hope this helps.
