I'm tying to edit toposurfaces and floors profiles in revit 2019, I have a lot of curved lines that i want to use the pickline tool to pick but for some strange reason, when i try to pick any curved line in the edit boundary option, the lines either turns into like a semi circle or i get random lines appearing out of nowhere or the lines gets deleted when i try to use the trim /extend, i think i might i have accidentally changed the setting in the revit file or something as this only seems to happen in the specific revit model that i'm building at the moment, this doesn't happen if i try to pick curved lines in a new revit file. I've had to mirror the building during the course of the project and I've also change the building's orientation settings in order to get true north. i don't know if these changes have anything to do with the problem. Picking lines that are straight seems to work fine, its just picking lines that have any form of radius that is a problem.
Is the model light-years from the Origin point? If you have CAD link, check it location from WCS 0,0,0.
Hi, yes I do have a CAD file linked into the project and when i imported it into the revit model, it didnt come in at the right place so i had to manually drag it on to where the building was, and i had also already set the project's true north when i imported the file. i don't know if manually placing the cad file on to the building has anything to do with it ?
Hi I've actually figured out what the problem is, it seems like the lines are behaving this way because I've mirrored the project, any solutions?
You can Create the floor in another project then copy and paste it to the original project
