Phasing / visibility issue

Hi,

Can someone explain what I have done, for some reason one 'new construction' window is not showing aside from the swing but as you can see the long window under the same phase is. I have played with phases and visibility in regards to coarse to fine details and can only get the window to show when the Demo lines don't but I need them both.

Thank you !

Set View Phase Filter=Show Complete, Phase=New Construction. Report back.

Actually, I think you want Phase Filter=Show Demo + New.  Right?

Is the window curtain wall based? Could be there might be some phasing issue, try copy-pasting the window in same place with the view set to its construction phase...

It looks like you're implying that both windows are supposed to be of New Construction. If so, did you check whether the window on the right is in an Existing phase status?

Your phase filters are strange to start with. Did you change them from the original settings intentionally or by mistakes?

Both windows of this elevation are under ' new construction' it appears to be only an issue on this elevation

I use 'show complete' and 'show new and existing' to show with and without demo lines. I have used these settings with another model which worked but happy to change if it'll help!

I don't think it has anything to do with Phase Filters if it is happening in only one view. Maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe coloured helps? the red dash is demo is set as overridden. The "new construction" windows seem to be blanked out aside from where one overlaps with an "existing" demo'd window

Can't you just post the file? Make it a heck of a lot easier. We could put this to bed in a matter of minutes.

Move your new window horizontally a bit and see if it will come out, it can be hidden because it's not cutting the infilled wall.

The problem you are having is:  The part of demolished wall created when you place a new window is blocking your new window.

You can use unjoin tool an click on the infill wall(demolished)/window to separate the infill wall(demolished) from the existing wall, then override graphic the infill wall to make it 100% transparent.

You will be able to show the new windows with the demolish lines of the infill wall.

If you don't want to see the demolish line, simply skip the uncut and Tab select the infill wall to hide it.

Isn't this what you want to see with Show Complete?

That plus the demo lines of the old window. It is for a DA and I need to show the new openings (shown) but also the window/s we are removing (in red dashed).

It is, but the window detail is incorrect. I am hoping to have the same detail of windows regardless of what wall (existing or new wall)
It seems if an existing window sits on existing wall it shows correctly as well as new window on new wall but when a new window is set in existing wall the detail.
The window shows correctly if I remove the demo phase in the settings but I need to show the demo as well.

Hide the Infill Wall then.
