Phasing Detail Items for Renovation Project

Is there a way to incorporate Design Options and Phasing with Detail Items or Lines?  (Phase Created and Phase Demolished do not display when these are selected)

But, I didn't see this issue come up, and I haven't been able to find many resources on this topic.  Thank you, for any advice or help.

I'm not following.  Design Options contain Model Elements which can be Phased. Detail Lines are View-Specific.  Through Dedicated Views you can show both.
