Some people in my office are working on a renovation to an existing building. They have a wall from which they want to remove the drywall from one face and replace it with new moisture resistant drywall and a tile finish. I have found that we can use parts and phasing to remove the existing drywall. But adding the new finish is giving us trouble.
What is the best way to add the new drywall and tile to the existing wall? I am really hoping the answer is not to draw two walls parallel to one another but I can't find another way. having two walls causes a number of issues including making openings for doors and windows and tagging the wall.
Any info on this topic is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
