Hello all,
I have a Revit model form ARCH, in which the walls are in the existing phase and they have a comment ' DEMOL'
I want to link this model in my project and to show these walls demolished (with the graphics that I have -yellow colour).
So, I created a filter for the walls with comments 'DEMOL' to have yellow colour when there are cutted and in projection.
It seems to work in the floor plan but not in the section. In the section I have a wall who is cutted and projected at the same time (the wall has an angle), but I dont see it in yellow..
Any thought? Any other workflow that I can use in order to show the walls in demolition phase?
(I dont want to change the filter of the walls in the ARCH model )
Thank you in advance!
@Anonymous ,
As the walls in the linked file are in the Phase"Existing " I have mapped the existing - existing and new-new.
Finally using view filters I got the result that I wanted in the section (walls in yellow). but in the second section that I have, using the same view template the walls remain grey..
Thank you!
Best option would be for Arch to fix their model to show the phases correctly, but they have instead used a comment for this? Strange - can they not fix it?
But you seem to have a work-around, that displays correctly in a view but incorrectly in another view with the same template - are the phase settings the same for both views (but not part of the template)?
Well, I don't know about Phase mapping. Last time I tried it didn't really work properly. You might want to set phasing for revit links using custom settings for your view using VG/unchecking RL in template.
As the display in the floor plan was correct I applied the same view template in the sections and it works...
Not sure where it was the wrong.
Thank you for your answers!
