I have a Revit site model that has 3 phases and there are a total of 8 buildings linked into the site model. Each of the 8 buildings are new construction and being built in one of the 3 phases.
When I attempt to map the linked buildings in the Revit site model to one of the 3 phases, they do not respond. All of the linked buildings just have 2 phases, Existing and New Construction.
In the attached example, this linked building is being placed on the site in phase 2 so I've set the existing and phase 1 of the site model to Existing for the linked model.
My fear is that I will have to make the phases (names and quantities) match the site model for all of our new buildings which seems like it will cause problems to have fake or placeholder phases in a new construction model but this building still shows up in all phases.
Any thoughts?

Not quite following. Are you setting Phase Filter as well as Phase in the Link?
I would match the phases of the site and all the links. Meaning you would have to create placeholder phases in the links but they shouldn't affect anything model and document wise.
The real headache comes when you have one link inserted multiple times, and you want them to be under different phases.
I was afraid of that...........grrrrrrr. Fortunately each building is a one-off but I can see how that would be a nightmare. Thank you.
