phase graphic overides do not seem to be working...

I know I have my graphic overides set up the want I want them, and my phase filters are correct.

I just created a new roof plan and it seems like they are not applying. Any reason why this might be?

Each plan is created with the default phase setting, typically New Construction.  You will need to go to the plan properties and adjust according to your desired phase graphical overrides.

Check out this infographic, it shows the hierarchy of view overrides. Higher overrides trump the overrides below them. Check to see if you have other, higher-priority overrides applied, then remove or modify those.

Could be anything.  Maybe it's related to your pant inseam length or the floss you use.

Kidding.

Post a screenshot of your Roof Plan View's Phase Filter and Phase along with screenshots of your Project's Phase Filters and Graphics Overrides.  Better yet -- post your Project File.

In your Phase Filters tab, check the settings for "Show New + Existing". Is Existing set to "Overridden"? If not, it will not engage the overrides in the Graphic Overrides tab.

What about Phase Filters?  What are the settings for Show New+Existing?

if your view is set to Realistic, you may not see a difference since Revit is showing you the Image applied to the material vs the surface pattern.

Bingo, thank you 👍

I just had this problem and it was the filters for "Existing" & "Demolished" had been set as By Category and should have been as  "Overridden". 👍
