I'm trying to create a new Phase Filter, but no matter how hard I try, the override functions just wouldn't work.
There is the "Existing, Demolished and New" Phase filter already and I created a new Filter but this time having only the new set to "By Category" and the rest to "Overridden".
Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
The First Picture is with all Phases set to override. ANd the second with only new set to by category and I get completely different results.
Can you share a screenshot of the following:

Here you go. It's in german but i can help with the Translation.
The phase filters affected are Nr. 8 and 11
Nr. 11 being the Existing, Demolished and New (all set to Override)
Nr. 8 being the Existing+Demolished, New (new is set to By Category and the others are still overrride)
Keine Sorge, ich spreche auch Deutsch. Aber in diesem Forum müssen wir lieder nur Englisch sprechen, sonst wird der Post ins deutschsprachige Forum verschoben.
Before making any guesses, do you have Linked models? and Did you map the phases correctly? to check FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS LINK
Edit: And check the phase created and phase demolished of the abgebrochne Hauptgebäude

Yes. I have linked models and I have the Phases mapped correctly. I just checked that again to be sure.
You didn't give feed back on the phase created and phase demolished of the building
I am pretty sure that the issue is being caused of Phase 1 and Phase 2...without looking at the model and not knowing what is in those two phases...Usually Abbruch is not a phase... it is an activity which is carried out in the same Phase as the Neubau. When you have created a phase for Abbruch... and demolished the building in that phase, the Demolishing is considered at the same time as New activity + Abbruch therefore the confusion in the Filters...
I would suggest that you do the following
If you want to keep Phase 2 ... Your Filter should be set as follows (I think...Im making an assumption that you want to see the Sporthalle with no override and all the rest in Grey)

Hi @RDAOU ,
Thanks for the feedback,
I've been able to get it to work. It was a long workaround though.
I had to go into every linked file and made sure they had the exact same Phasefilters as in the Main model. And it seemed to work.
Actually, the issue I had was i needed the second picture to look exactly like the first one even though i changed Filters. The Sporthalle is also an existing building. So it's also correct as grey.
And yes i set every other thing to Phase 0.
It's just the scaffolding next to the Sporthalle that's done in two different phases
