Phase Filter Problem

I working on a multi family renovation project and am trying to set up the phase filters. I mistakenly modelled the existing building in New Construction phase so now I am going back and changing all the elements to "existing". The problem is when I am editing the model group for a unit, when I identify an existing door to be demolished in the New Construction phase and click "finish" I get this error message;

Does anyone know how to make this work? None of the other elements cause this only the doors within the model group.

Don't change the Phase Demolished parameter for the door until you finish editing the group. You should be able to demo the door outside of the group editing mode.

Maybe not change a bunch of elements' Phase Created from New Construction to Existing. Maybe instead, add a forward Phase and rename Phases however you want.  That's another way to roll. 😉

Steve,

Thanks to your help I got the original issue solved. Now that the phase filters are set up i am having a different issue.

I modelled my building in "Existing" phase and then identified elements to be demolished in "New Construction" phase. When I select the existing/demo view template, all elements disappear. I have successfully employed the existing/ demo view template to other views of the model. What do you think would cause this? Thanks.
