PATTERNS IN SCHEDULES

I AM CURRENTLY CONVERTING MY FIRMS OLD ACAD LEGENDS INTO SCHEDULES IN REVIT.  I AM WONDERING IF THEIR IS A WAY TO HAVE SURFECE PATTERN FILL IN A SCHEDULE.  I AM NEEDING THIS FOR OUR FLOOR FINISH LEGEND.  WE SHOW A FILL PATTERN FIRST FOR EACH TYPE.  SEE EXAMPLE.

Why not use a Revit Legend? Why a Schedule?

You can create images for the patterns and add Image field to the schedule if you also want to quantify the material.

I am trying to setup our template to have as much as we can to be auto fill like room lists or door schedules.

Using Schedules instead of legends allows for that.  If this proves to be not practical then we will go with a legend.

You can create legends in the template as well.  They can simply be filled regions and text.

Or if you are into a more BIMish approach, then create a generic model box family with different types for different materials, drag drop them to a legend view, then tag them using material tag.
