I have been working on the Life Safety plans for a project and adding the Paths of Travel with Revit's smart tool. It worked on all the above ground floors, but now that I'm in the basement, I keep getting these warnings:
I have made it so the line can go through the topography. I tried turning off the crop region entirely. I have tried various points. I feel like I have tried everything. Any thoughts?

Sounds like it may be related to your Analysis Zone.

Turns out it's just an issue with revit on my computer, because the lines I've drawn are showing up for my co-worker... just a weird revit glitch I guess
FWIW: Here's a checklist to reference when stuff goes missing in the View:

- A crop region is enabled in the view. The Path of Travel may not be the optimized route because it is calculating only inside the crop region. Consider uncropping the view and placing another Path of Travel to ensure you see the optimized route.
- None of the created elements are visible in Area Plan (Life Safety): LIFE SAFETY PLAN - LEVEL B1 View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings.

You need to check Crop View.
For future reference, there is a Revit visibility troubleshooting guide available here: Visibility Troubleshooting Guide
