Hi guys
I'm hoping you can help as I've looked all over the internet and can't find the answer. I've got a simple basic pat file that I made 3 years ago which works a treat. I wanted to modify the hatch slightly so did a saveas on it and changed one number from 300 to 150. When I try to import the pat file Revit 2019 says 'No model types found'. I've also just tried doing a saveas on the original file without changing anything and I'm still getting the same message 'No model types found'. Can somebody help please?
Thanks
This is my assumption:
The old PAT file defines a drafting pattern which then you wanted to use for creating a model pattern.
Try to use it for creating a drafting pattern.
The other thing you could try is to open a PAT file and where you see "DRAFTING", rewrite to "MODEL". Then, try to crate a model pattern using that PAT file.

@Anonymous Hey!
I think we can help - this is exactly why we created Pattycake.
Pattycake will highlight the numbers in our "HYBRID VIEW" pane if something is wrong --- (there are misc. rules to follow such as min/max values). As @Ilic.Andrej said... it could be that the Model/Drafting text isn't set at the beginning of the PAT file, but it also could be that one of the various PAT rules isn't being followed. Pattycake will check all these automatically for you.
Additionally if you post/share the PAT file, i can do this and provide you a link for easy download. Let me know if i can help more!
You have encountered Revit's all-purpose error message for an unloadable .PAT file..
Cut and paste the .PAT file text into this thread and someone will soon spot the problem.
