partially vanishing text notes

I'm working in Revit LT 2017.

In between closing and reopening my project, numerous text notes across multiple views partially vanished.  The missing text can be brought back by selecting and moving the text note.  The missing text is also missing when printed to pdf.  I've attached two screenshots of to illustrate.  The leader behaves as if the text is present but invisible.

I am concerned that this occurred throughout the project; it seems I'll need to manually check all text notes prior to issuing drawings, and who knows if it will recur when I open it up again.  Any idea what's going on?

I installed SP1 today but the issue is still occurring in this file.

Thanks in advance for any help ...

I had had it happened after upgrade from 2016 to 2017. That's one of the side effect when they changed the font size handling in the new version. The text is literally bigger and get clipped off the bounding box.

You could either reduce the font size to a tad smaller, e.g. 1/8" to 15/128", or select all the text and nudge them back and forth a bit.

I like the workaround.  Haven't ever needed the 128ths and 256ths before, but it does work.  Wish I'd figured it out before turning in those permit sets.

My only worry is that the 11/128" bounding box will next clip the 11/128" text . . . have you found it sufficient to shrink the font size once and move on ahead?

Thanks -

Yes. I only needed to fix it once. It sticks fortunately.
