Hi @kristy.hao ,

Did you try copying the same element nearby? how does it look? is it the same?

Have you tried viewing the component from different levels or views?

Are all visibility related settings correct? such as view range, required category and sub category under visibility graphics setup?

if all above don't help, try placing the component in new project.

if nothing above is working it could be a graphical error. try updating your Revit with latest update release of hot fix.

can you post the project here?

Thanks.

I tried copying same element nearby, the table is missing. I checked vg nothing is turned off. see attached. Thanks for your help.

Also, when you sometime download a family like a chair, there's a rectangular box around it, how do you get rid of it?

manufacturer families are most of the time set to display different graphics when detail level of the view is set to coarse, medium, fine.

either work with that or edit the family, select the rectangular extrusion and delete it then select the imported geometry of the chair, edit it visibility graphics and check the boxes to show in all detail levels

The pullman booth from first question. The table is still not showing up. When I click on the table, i cannot turn the visibility to on. Right now in plan view it shows the booth not the table and want the table to show up on floorplan view. TIA.

It’s visibility is controlled by a parameter…when u place in ur model, select and edit Type change visibility from there.

this is to allow u to create different family type with and without the table
