Hey I need some help,
I am creating a parapet that is attached to the wall type I'm using. The problem is i have one wall where I've edited the profile to create a peak.
Attached is a capture of the wall and you can see the parapet going through it. it doesn't follow the point and stays straight.
Any ideas of how to adjust or fix this?
Please let me know thank you in advance.
Jeff
Is the parapet a built-in or drawn-in wall sweep? Built-in wall sweep will not work because you cannot control their break points. With drawn-in wall sweep, you can create two sweeps and grip edit them so that they are on either sides of the peak. then model the parapet over the peak with in-place model.
A common workflow would have the parapet be constructed of another wall on top of the first wall. Then for your peaked condition, you would edit the profile of BOTH of them.
The parapet is apart of the wall construction. I guess i will have to change it so it has none and add a new parapet wall sweep to it.
Thanks
Try to create the parapet as a railing and host it to the wall. Draw the parapet section as a profile, use it as a handrail with no balusters at 0" high.
That probably didn't work. If not you may want to try this:
