Parametric

Hi, how can I give parameters to this sloped extrusion and also i want to add parameters for its thickness and width.

You can solve this problem in many ways. For this particular family you may want to add an angle parameter.

 

Is this a 2D family or a 3D family?

 

Will the shape always be as shown or will there be a different profile potentially?

You need trigonometric formulas.

It would help to know what you are "BIM-ing" here. That is, what is this component in the real world?  I mean, I can certainly provide you with all the formulas necessary to conform this "thing" parametrically to whatever shape you desire, but what exactly is this "thing"?  Appears to me to be the part of a waffle floor or decking system. Am I warm?

Actually its a Double Tee plan- precast

Why not do the "double-tees" via Beam Systems in the Project environment?

because the flanges are diff at some point and I need to have it or custom so I can change everything acc to the place.

hi - yes and also want to add a chamfer to be controlled too at corners of Doube tee steams and also the angle.

I don't know how that would be a deterrent to modeling the tees in a beam system.  Also, Revit has a Pan Joist Family in the OOTB Content Library that could be used here.
