In a generic model there is a shared parameter that contains an integer number. The value of this parameter determines which version of the model is to be shown. Also this parameter is used to set the string value of another (shared) parameter, which contains a description of the value.
I have generated a basic annotation that looks like a battery that should show three stages according to the integer parameter, ie. empty, half-full and full. To make sure the shared parameters' values actually end up in the annotation, I also put in a text annotation that just prints the values. The printing works fine, the graphic annotation does not.
Any ideas why this is would be very much appreciated.
The picture file that ends with 'paint job.png' is what I expected my annotation to look like, the other is what I get from Revit. The version I used here, is Revit 2017.2.
You need a parameter that controls the visibility similar to the screen shot below
My parameters may have different names but they are there all the same. They just do not work. I wonder why. Thanks for looking into it.
