I need help on a formula I need to create a cube like shape thats is adjustable with a void extrusion of 2mm I also need it to go along with the overall offset. The only part I am missing is the formula in which im able to not need to change both the offsets.

What do you mean "both" the offsets? Please post a sketch of what you're trying to do. A void extrusion can be in different positions on a cube.

2mm? You sure you want to do that? Turn Thin Lines OFF and see what linework spaced 2mm apart look like at different View Scales.

You know that Revit can model ducts, right?

System > duct. Or do you use Revit LT?

FWIW: If you want something square/rectangular and hollow in general, there are several Structural Framing Families that you could repurpose, such as HSS Square.rfa  located in  the Content Library under Structural Framing\Steel\AISC 15.0. Just Save the OOTB Family to another name and recategorize if need be.

A duct with 2 mm thick wall?  That is over modelling.  But if you want pain and suffering, draw the sweep outer profile then offset it in 2mm, place dimensions from inner lines to the outer lines and lock them.

Explain what this formula is supposed to do.  Maybe throw in a screenshot so we can follow along.
