Hello,
while creating a formula in a family parameter I've come across with a problem of calculation accuracy. Even if I increase units precision nothing happens (except of "error" is more precise).
Is that a bug or can it be somehow fixed?

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
It looks like you've already tried what I'm saying here but this solution have worked for me, You've to change the entire project unites to get rounding "3 decimal places" so it can be reflected easily on the family types parameters, I've tried it many times before and it should be working well.
Press "UN" and edit "Length" format rounding as shown below..
