IS ti possible to create a parameter for a extrusion. I am trying to but I have an error message, extrusion is too thin.
Try not to make any extrusion solids less than 4mm like ex layers in walls we can't make less than 4mm because
TL thin line preview errors
Model lines in Revit have a minimum of 1/32" in length.
Once the extrusion is below 1/32" or 0.8mm, it will give you error. If you want to go below that, one approach I would take is to extend the solid object beyond the limit and use void to cut that off.
Once you have this parameter set up, you can go as low as 1/64" (0.4mm) and the object will not break.
Turn OFF Thin Lines. You may not want to model something that thin. What's your #1 line weight?
I didn't suggest changing the Line Weight. I only posted the screenshot of the Line Weight Settings Dialog I was referring to.
I'll add, that even if you could use a thinner weight, your printer wouldn't be able to print it. So, what's the point?
thank you all, I can model bigger than 0,8mm. So I guess I wouldnt have any problem
Yes. When you need to an extrusion thinner than allowed, use a void to cut it. You can add parameter to the void to adjust it's dimensions.
