Painting in Revit - How to paint multiple faces + Material eyedropper tool

Hello all,

Will it be possible one day to select multiple faces and apply paint in 1 go ? (talking about IFC files where each object has a ducplicate materials for example). Is there maybe a Dynamo for this ?

Also, when will an material eyedropper tool be available. It would be so convenient.

Thank you,

I second the eyedropper tool. This needs to happen.

I don't know about a paint tool for multiple faces, but there is a Dynamo script and a plugin for creating multiple walls from rooms. You can create a wall named 'paint' and apply it.

PLUGIN: https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=5641957956279354474&appLang=en&os=Win64

DYN SCRIPT: https://www.modelical.com/en/node/wall-finishes-by-room/comment-page-4/

Use PyRevit Match Paint tool. It is literally Eyedropper with a better name.
