Painted materials are rotated

Not sure why when I paint some of my objects (floors, ceilings, ...) they are at a weird angle. As you can see in my screenshot below, the roof pattern is OK, as well as other items, which is not visible. But my floor paints are rotated. Not sure if that's right, but it seems they are aligned with the true East-West direction. Even if I Tab to the Model Pattern lines, to rotate them manually, it doesn't work.

That looks like a rendered (Realistic) view which would mean that we're looking at the image attached to the material.

First make sure that the image isn't rotated in the material definition, thus causing a rotation relative to the material placement.

Next, to address the fact that rotating the model lines of the pattern doesn't change anything... If the "Disjoin" option is checked in the rotate command this will prevent being able to rotate the pattern. You cannot change this option when rotating a pattern so, if it is checked, draw a line, start the rotate command (being sure to uncheck the disjoin option), rotate the line, delete the line, then try the rotate command on the model pattern again (the disjoin option will now be set properly).

Thanks for your reply. No, the image is definitely not rotated in the Material definition. I used the same material in different places, and it was fine. For some reason, Revit decided to rotate that on that floor, and on another ceiling randomly.

The Disjoin option is grayed out during the rotation command when I want to rotate the hatch line.

Yes, it will be greyed out. thus my instructions how to change it if it is checked.

If the "Disjoin" option is checked in the rotate command this will prevent being able to rotate the pattern. You cannot change this option when rotating a pattern so, if it is checked, draw a line, start the rotate command (being sure to uncheck the disjoin option), rotate the line, delete the line, then try the rotate command on the model pattern again (the disjoin option will now be set properly)
