Paint inclusion in wall assembly?

Hi all..

is it possible to include paint as a wall layer? the problem is thickness..

need this in order to calculate paint..

This is underground floor coating..

You do not need to add a layer for paint to calculate it's area,

  1. Using Quantities Schedule you can calculate based on the wall area and/or use a calculated value parameter 
    • paint.png
  2. Using Material Take Off schedule you can add the Parameter "Material: As Paint" and use that to filter the schedule (Below Screencast)
  3. Or if you are using Parts, you can apply the same principle as item 2 above
