The problem I'm having is where walls/floors/ceilings, etc. are cut, the line thickness increases. I'm trying to override this so that the line thickness doesn't change. I would think that using override in Visibility/Graphic Overrides (circled button in second image) would fix this, but it seems to have no effect. The two orange arrows in the elevation view show a wall that's cut at the top and bottom, but not in the middle (the elevation runs through a window in that wall). I want to get rid of all of the thick lines around the edges of the view.

Override the roof too. You can also use the Linework (LW) tool to override linework.
I was able to get it to work, thanks @barthbradley. You've helped me a lot lately; if I ever run into you in the real world, I owe you a beer! ![]()
Another issue I was having was that I was changing the subcategories (boxed in orange) when I needed to be changing the main category (boxed in yellow).
