hi
i have dual monitor setup powered by Nvidia Quadro K600.
primary monitor using 2K resolution while the secondary uses hd resolution,
i want the secondary monitor to show a 3d window of the model ,
if i i stretch the revit window across both monitors i get the different res issue,
and the interface going to the secondary monitor (which i don't like)
as a workaround, i was thinking to run 2 revit applications,
load the project first to the primary screen.
and than load it again in the secondary screen.
drawing the 2d floorplan on the primary screen,
when i want to see my changes in the 3d model, i can "refresh" my secondary monitor
is there a way to do it in Revit?
Thanks
Shay

No. Mulitple monitor support is limited in Revit. Hopefully better in future versions.
Using two Revit session is not to be advised with all the extra memory needed and saving/reloading the project will cost too much time.
Best would be to stretch the revit workspace to the two (preferrably same) monitors. Put the secondary monitor to your right so that the ribbon will stay on the first monitor

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Not that I know of. You would need to save in one session and then reopen it in the other session. If your project is in worksharing mode you can reload from central. It still requires that in the first session data is saved to central and in the other (re)loaded.

Rotate the secondary vertical to so that the Revit window will not get clipped when you span it across monitors because you have more vertical pixels on that monitor now.
is there a way to save those windows location?
after spending so much effort, placing all view the way i want on bath screens,
is everithing vanish when i restart revit? no wayyyyy
