Outlet annotation lineweight not changing when altered in object styles.

I'm using the out of the box outlets from Revit.  I did a save as to create a new family and named it Oulet-Duplex-New.  I'd like the new outlets to show up darker than the existing but when I change the object style line weight it doesn't seem to do anything.  What am I missing?

try setting up a filter using comments for that category electrical devices.

select a item to set as NEW in the comments section of the properties

be sure to include generic annotation and / or Detail Items as categories too.

NEW displays as an override oclor and line weight

EXIST stays as placed apply the filter to those views

By default, the annotation lines for outlets are drawn in the Generic Annotations category.

You can change the line weight for Generic Annotations in your project object styles settings.

If you want to change the category of these lines, you need to edit the annotation family inside the outlet family.

- Double click to the outlet to open the outlet family

Turn Thin Lines (TL) OFF.
