Was looking at some videos that are showing windows that have parameters built in for brick walls. Assuming these are not necessarily custom. I've looked at the windows that come with revit and not finding anything. Anyone know where I might find it?
Have also looked through the "create new family" templates as well.

I can't find the exact video, but I think Balkan architect had a recent video to do that to door or window families.

Thanks HVAC. Will look into that.
Was hoping something was available with the software.
There are. Look for them in Commercial folder.
With that said, it is easier to use different families for masonry and framed walls. The rough openings are different and the frame depths are different. For masonry and concrete walls, I prefer to use curtain wall and curtain wall doors and windows so that it is more flexible to locate them within the depth of the wall.
Thanks Toan! Much appreciated.
I hear you on the storefront vs windows. Have been experimenting with storefront but if typical windows/ doors will work for some of my applications then at least it's good that they are available.
I've been able to locate some doors quickly (in my full seat but not my LT seat) that do have brick parameters built in so there is hope here.
I've started another thread related to not being able to find in LT. Would appreciate your input there as well.
