Orient to view not working

Hello to the forum.

I use revit structure 2015.

In 3d view when i use the ""orient to view - floor plan"" to orient the section box, it doesnt orient correct in the Cut plane height that i have set in the plan view.

If i start a new project it works. But in my current project it doesnt.

I use phases. Is that a problem?  Its a complex project to rebuilt it from scratch.

Thank you.

Difficult to say - any chance you could post a screen shot or better still a screencast?

With 'Orient to View' the 3D section box is set to the limits defined by the Top and Bottom values set in the View Range of the particular view.  If you want the 3D orientated view to appear the same as your floor plan you will need to lower the Top range to be equal to the Cut plane.

In revit 2017, it seems the view range is no longer followed by the default "orient to view" section box. Is there a way to set the section box' settings for this feature?
